BSIT-Upcoming Engineering College

Our college Bandari Srinivas Institute of Technology was established in the year 2003. BSIT is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTU-H. The Institute is located about 5km from Chevella village on Chevelra-ShankarpaIi Road. The location is about 40km from Mehdipatnam and is well connected by R.T C. buses. In addition, the institute provides own bus facility for the students and staff from the city and back.

I am a student of this college from 2006 and presently pursuing my final year in ECE branch. When I first joined this college we only had a single building. And approximately when we were in second year or so the other building construction was started. We saw the college growing in front of us in every aspect. Today I feel proud that I joined in this college.

There are many other branches like CSE-Computer Science and Engineering, EEE-Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT-Information Technology, which was introduced very recently.

We have very good lab facilities with latest equipments. There were separate labs to conduct online exams for us. The Institute has clean. Environment around and no polluting Industries are locations surroundings. A number of trees are planted in the campus Abundant potable water is available on the campus.

We arranged many events at our college like Technovision-09, which was hosted by me and my friends. We managed all programs and events like paper presentations, technical quiz, circuit designing and all. This was held in February 2009 and for the first time in the college history it was a two day event and with all the hard work done by us the event lead to a grand success.

We did our technical seminars, mini-projects successfully. Presently I am doing my main project. I like to thank our HOD-Head of the Department for helping us at every step. This is all because I am student of Bandari Srinivas Institute of Technolgy. This is all about my college life.

The college today, is one of the best colleges all around that area. They have recently introduced the post graduation courses like MBA, MCA, M.Tech. And also the polytechnic course which can be done after schooling. The college when established in 2003 had an intake of only 240 students with 4 branches but today it has an intake 420 students with 5 different groups.
