Telangana Movement History
The advent of Telangana movement began immediately after the end of Second World War and surfaced its presence till 1951. It was construed to be an aftermath of struggles of various peasants in India. The movement was a manifestation of protect of people due to oppressive regime during the rule of Patils as well as Nizam. The oppression by money lenders as well as unreasonable tax systems prevalent during such times made peasants totally tied up with no surplus and excess outgo more than the receipt of income creating a vicious circle wherein they could not come out of such financial pressures. Later when after 1950 the Indian governments fifth plan period started there was an improvement of agriculture from time to time to reach a situation of adequacy but still the problem has totally not been resolved till the year 2010.
In spite of the fact that people below the poverty line is getting reduced from time to time a lot is still required that is need to be done to bring out farmers from the clutches from money lenders as well as certain middlemen. After the fag end of 2009 the government in the Home Ministry decided to constitutionally create a medium of bringing about telangana by constituting a committee headed by Justice SriKrishna. The committee was allowed flexibility for various parleys to have discussions with various factions to bring about a unified opinion amidst divergent directions.
Facts in Telangna History
There were cases of exploitation of sex by various feudal lords as well as wrongful factions that took undue advantage of innocence of women and various widows. There was a dire need for making a demand for an independent state that would create some rights fulfilled for such affected people. Recently, the highly competent committee headed by legal and socio-economic luminaries could have an opportunity to have discussions with various parliamentary parties representing such peasants and also creating an opportunity for meeting such peasants. This allowed maturity in understanding that inculcated an element of maturity in spite of furious demands by means of agitation and excess damage that pave the way for disciplinary action against involved people. Hence, by the end of 31 st December 2010 the committee report would be placed and a concrete decision by the government is awaited.
