Madhu Yashki Goud is one of the strong leader from telangana region. His sincerity for the cause separate state of telangana is so popular that even TRS leader KCR appreciates and praises his work.He strongly opposed YSR's policies and sources say is close to Rahul Gandhi.

He is one of the Telangana leader who opposed Y.S.Raja Sekhar Reddy and his policies . It is said that he is close to AICC General secretary Rahul Gandhi, and only through him he got MP ticket for the second time even after strong opposition from former CM YSR and got the post of secretary in the AICC.

He became MP for the first time in 2004 and the second time in 2009.Right from 2004 he was fighting hard for the separate state of telangana. He did allow any one to cow down him on account of telangana issue.

Quite a few times Goni Prakasa Rao raised many allegations against him.However Madhu Yaskhi never tone downed his voice.

On 10 –July -11 he gave a sensational statement that high command will announce separate state of telangana only in the case of TRS merging with congress party.
