It`s time to bid good bye to 2011 and welcome 2012. But before doing this one has to analyse all the things done in 2011 so as to ensure that the same mistakes are not repeated again. Same thing will be applicable to Telugu movies in 2011. Many movies got released in 2011 of which only some could impress the audience. But to be frank, 2011 was mostly dominated by dubbed movies than direct movies. Telugu films in 2011 like Dhookudu, 1005 love, Ala modalindi fared well at box office with a good talk where as many other movies like Shakthi, Badrinadh, Paramaveera chakra remained as disasters. Some movies like Teenmar, Oosaravelli ran with average talk and also collections.

One good thing to talk about 2011 Telugu movies is that, Top league herores Nagarjuna and Bala krishna tried to give audience of Hyderabad and also Andhra Pradesh with a new flavour. Bala Krishna came up with Sri Rama Rajyam and got success with his attempt. Bapu carved the movie well to suit the taste of present day audience. On the other hand, King Nagarjuna with his December sentiment, is planning to come up as "Rajanna" an historical movie based on true life incidents taken place at the time of Rajakar rule in Telangana. Hope he finishes the year 2011 with a high note for Tollywood. Now, all eyes are on Sankranthi/Pongal 2012 releases of Telugu cinema.
