Strange questions in ICET 2012 exam paper

ICET 2012 exam held by Kakatiya University on Friday across various centers in the state of andhra pradesh. Students found strange questions in the exam paper and totally felt difficult. Read the article to know the details of the strange questions in ICET 2012

The most popular Integrated Common Entrance Examination (ICET) for admission to MBA and MCA courses in various collges across Andhra Pradesh state held on Friday 18-May-2012 in around 250 centres in 27 districts. The ICET 2012 exam was conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal.

The students who took the examination were shocked while attempting unfamiliar questions in the ICET 2012 examination.

Many students said, Analytical ability section got few questions which were never asked in any of the previous ICET exams. The mathematics section contain few questions which were drawn in combination of two or more concepts which usually take long time to solve. Experts said, The paper has over three errors and one question was from out of syllabus.

However, ICET 2012 paper was similar to the prescribed manner in terms of its pattern and marks allotment to various sections. Just to recall the same, total duration of the exam will be 150 minutes to answer 200 multiple choice questions. The distribution of these 200 questions will be as follows. 75 questions from analytical and mathematics, 50 questions from communication ability.

Many students while walking out of the examination hall opinioned, both analytical ability and English sections were easy , but the mathematics paper disappointed us with couple of complaints mentioned above.

There is no correct answer in the given options for the question number 42 (reasoning section) from Booklet code A.

There is no correct answer in the given options for the question number 82 from Booklet code A.

There is no correct answer in the given options for the question number 143 from Booklet code A.

Question number 137 is out of syllabus

Data sufficiency question has some inconsistent information, which make the kill the time of students who tried to solve that question.

Since, the ranks in the ICET 2012 will be announced on the basis on relative marking system, students might not be affected with the difficulty in the exam paper, as the difficulty level would be almost the same for each students.
